Why we made this

The same metal. A different ritual.

We built this company on one object. A solid copper bottle, made the way it has been made in India for a very long time, sold to people who wanted their water stored in something other than plastic.

Then the emails started. People wanted to know if we made anything they could wear. Something with the same metal, for the hours when the bottle is sitting on a desk somewhere.

We said no for almost a year. Not because we did not want to make it, but because we kept opening samples that were brass with a copper wash on top. Scratch the underside and the yellow shows through. That is most of what is sold as a copper bracelet, and we were not going to put our name on it.

This is the one that passed. Solid copper through the whole link. Magnets that are actually seated, not glued into a shallow dimple. A band with enough weight that you know it is on your wrist.

What we will not tell you about magnets

Most brands selling a bracelet like this will tell you it relieves arthritis pain, improves your circulation, eases carpal tunnel, or replaces the pills in your cabinet. Some of them put it next to a picture of a pile of medication.

We are not going to say any of that. The controlled trials that have tested magnetic bracelets for joint pain have not found an effect beyond placebo. We have read them. If a brand tells you otherwise, ask them which trial they are citing, and watch what happens.

So here is the actual case for owning one.

It is a good object. Solid copper has a weight and a warmth that plated metal does not. It ages. Six months in, the band you are wearing does not look like anyone else's.

It is a visible habit. A lot of our bottle customers tell us the same thing: the point was never the copper on its own, it was having something in front of them that reminded them to drink water and slow down. A bracelet does that on your wrist all day.

If you want a magnetic bracelet, you should get a real one. Plenty of people wear one because their father did, or because they simply like it. That is a fine reason to buy something. What is not fine is paying for plated brass with weak ferrite discs pushed into the surface. Ours are N42 neodymium, properly set, in solid copper.

We would rather sell you this honestly and have you keep it for ten years.

Fit

Sizing takes two minutes

The band arrives at full length and you take links out to fit. The tool is in the box.

Measure your wrist

Wrap a strip of paper around the bone, mark where it overlaps, lay it flat against a ruler. A tape measure works too.

Add half an inch

That gap is what lets the band sit rather than grip. Most men land between 7.5 and 8.5 inches total.

Push the pins out

Set the band in the tool, turn the screw, the pin slides out. Take links from both sides so the clasp stays centred.

If you get it wrong, we fix it

Send it back and we resize it for you at no cost, for as long as you own it. Wrists change.

Wrist over 9 inches? Email support before you order and we will add links at no charge. Put your measurement in the message.

What happens over time

It will darken. That is the proof.

Real copper reacts with air and skin. Within a few weeks the shine dulls and the recesses go darker. This is patina, and it is the single clearest sign that what you bought is solid copper rather than a coated lookalike, because a lacquered fake stays bright and then chips.

Some people leave it. The band goes deep and uneven and looks like it has been somewhere. Others bring it back every few weeks. Both are correct.

Bringing the shine back, in 60 seconds

Cut a lemon, dip the flesh in table salt, rub it over the copper, rinse with warm water, dry with a cloth. That is the whole method. No polish, no chemicals.

A copper mark on your skin

Some people get a faint green or bronze tint under the band, usually in heat or after a workout. It is a harmless surface reaction between copper and sweat and it washes off with soap. It is more common in humid weather and on new bands.

Take it off before swimming, showering, or the gym and you will see far less of it.

What people say

★★★★★

Heavier than I expected in a good way. You can tell the copper is solid, not a thin plate over something else. The magnets sit flush in the links instead of rattling around.

★★★★★

Sizing was easier than I thought. The tool is in the box, I took two links out, and the clasp still sits in the middle of my wrist. Instructions were clear.

★★★★★

Bought this for my dad’s birthday. It arrived in the velvet case with a care card, so I didn’t have to wrap anything. He has been wearing it since the day it showed up.

★★★★☆

Looks great, but know that real copper will darken. Mine lost the bright shine after a few weeks. Lemon and salt brought it back in a minute. Not a defect, just copper doing what copper does.

Reviews below are from confirmed orders. We do not edit buyer wording. This bracelet is not a medical device.

No risk

Wear it for 30 days

Put it on. Get it wet by accident. Let it darken. If at any point in the first 30 days you decide it is not for you, email us and we refund it. You do not need to have kept the box, and it does not need to be unworn.

Questions

Before you order

Is this actually solid copper?
Yes. 99.9% copper, C11000 grade, through the entire link. There is no plating and no brass core. If you file the underside of a link you will find the same metal. We will send certification on request to support@houseofpurewellness.com.
Will it help with joint or wrist pain?
We do not claim that, and we would be careful with anyone who does. Controlled trials of magnetic bracelets for joint pain have not shown a benefit beyond placebo. Buy this because you want a well made copper bracelet. If you are dealing with pain, talk to a doctor.
Can I wear it with a pacemaker or an insulin pump?
No. Do not wear any magnetic jewellery if you have a pacemaker, a defibrillator, an insulin pump, or another implanted electronic device. If you are unsure, ask your cardiologist or the device manufacturer before ordering.
Why has it gone dark?
That is patina, and it means the copper is real. Lemon and salt brings the shine back in about a minute, or you can leave it and let it deepen. A plated bracelet would stay bright and then chip instead.
It is leaving a green mark on my skin.
Common, harmless, and it washes off with soap. Copper reacts with sweat, so it shows up more in heat, at the gym, and on a new band. Taking it off before showering and workouts reduces it a lot.
Is there nickel in it?
No nickel and no lead at any stage of manufacture. Most metal jewellery reactions are nickel reactions, so this matters. It is still copper against skin, so if you have a known copper sensitivity this is not the product for you.
How do I get the sizing right?
Measure your wrist, add half an inch, then remove links with the tool in the box until it matches. If you would rather not, send it back and we will resize it free for as long as you own it.
Can I shower or swim in it?
You can, but do not. Chlorine, salt water, soap, and shampoo all speed up tarnishing and can dull the finish. Take it off at the door and it will look better for longer.
Three magnets or six?
Both bands are the same 22mm width, the same copper, and the same length. Double Density has twice the magnets per link and sits noticeably heavier on the wrist. Pick it if you like a substantial watch. Pick Triple Row if you are not sure.
Where does it ship from and how long does it take?
Orders leave our Sanford, Florida warehouse. US delivery is typically 3 to 6 business days, international 7 to 14. Shipping is free everywhere and you get a tracking link when it leaves us.
Does it come ready to give as a gift?
Yes. It arrives in a velvet case with a care card, so nothing needs repackaging. Add a note at checkout and we will write it on the card by hand.
